Quick Start

Step 1: Upload Images

Click the upload area or drag images anywhere on the page. A translucent overlay will appear during dragging. Release mouse to finish upload.

Step 2: Adjust Compression Parameters

Two core parameters available in settings panel:

• Compression quality: Range 1%–100%, 85% recommended for daily use
• Clear EXIF metadata: Automatically remove device model and location data when enabled

Step 3: Launch Compression

Click【Start Compression】. The tool processes images sequentially. Each card displays status: Waiting for compression, Compressing, Completed, or Failed.

Step 4: Preview & Single Download

After compression, each card provides two operations:

• Preview: Open full-size view, display compressed size and compression ratio
• Download: Save individual image

Step 5: Bulk ZIP Download

Click【Download All as ZIP】on the right, all compressed images will be packed into v2x1_images.zip for saving.

Parameter Explanation

Compression Quality Control compression strength:

• 90%–100%: Excellent quality, suitable for high-quality demand scenarios
• 75%–90%: Balanced quality & size, daily general choice
• 50%–75%: Smaller file size, ideal for fast transmission and limited storage

Clear EXIF EXIF includes camera device, capture time, GPS location and more. Enable to remove automatically for privacy protection. Disable if you want to retain original data for photography showcase.

FAQ

Which formats are supported?

JPEG, PNG, WebP. BMP, GIF, SVG are unsupported. Incompatible files will be filtered and prompted during upload.

How many images can I upload at once?

Maximum 12 per batch. Upload area will hide after reaching limit.

What if compressed file becomes larger than original?

Some pre-compressed images cannot be shrunk further. The tool automatically keeps original file to avoid size increase.

How to fix compression failures?

Common causes: corrupted files, unsupported format, insufficient browser memory. Reduce batch size and check file integrity.

Do I need to re-compress after changing parameters?

Yes. After adjusting quality or EXIF options, processed images reset to waiting state. Click【Start Compression】to apply new settings.

Will images be uploaded to third-party servers?

No. All computation runs locally via WebAssembly. Image data never leaves your device.
