Stopwatch Usage Instructions

This tool is a versatile online stopwatch with a maximum timing length of 60 minutes, showing precise minutes, seconds and milliseconds. Up to 999 records can be stored.

Basic Operations

Start / Continue / Record: The main button label switches automatically based on current status. Tap "Start" to launch timing when the timer is idle. When timing is running, click "Record" to save the current timestamp to the record list below without pausing the clock. Tap "Continue" to resume timing after pausing.

Pause / Reset: The right button changes its function dynamically. "Pause" is displayed during active timing to halt the timer temporarily. "Reset" appears when paused or stopped to zero out all timing data.

Spacebar (Desktop): Quick trigger for main button actions (Start / Record / Continue).

Record Mode

Tick "Record Mode" to display the record panel and enable lap recording workflow. While timing, pressing the main button or spacebar logs current elapsed time with the timer running continuously. Records are listed with serial number and timestamp formatted as MM:SS.mmm. The list auto-scrolls to the latest entry after each new record for easy viewing. A hard cap of 999 records is applied to guarantee data precision.

Record Management

Filename Prefix: Input a custom prefix (optional) before export. Exported file naming rule: [Prefix]_YYYY-MM-DD_HH-MM-SS.txt. Clear: Erase all records, reset serial numbers and clear the prefix input box without altering the current timer state. Download: Export all saved records into a TXT file containing serial numbers and timestamps for backup or sharing.

Notice: Clear and Download buttons are automatically disabled while the stopwatch is running to maintain data integrity.

Fullscreen Mode

Click the "Fullscreen" button to enter distraction-free fullscreen view. Exit via re-clicking the button or pressing the Esc key.
